Eucalyptus Flower Mat 3m
Description
Evoking the colourful blossoms of Australian native plants, designer Christine Slabb has created this spectacular mat motif ideal for use as a beach mat, classroom rug or play space.
Christine is an accomplished Indigenous artist and graphic designer from the Bundjalung-Yugambeh people, on Australia’s east coast. In this image, she tells a story about the season from March to July when the lorikeets feast on eucalyptus flowers. This is a bird’s eye view, looking at the top of the flower as it bursts into life in vibrant pink and bush yellow.
The Eucalyptus Flower mat is a popular choice for classrooms and day care centres, with 22 surrounding circles that are perfect for seating children during group time, storytime, show and share, or other learning activities. The dots and patterns can also be used for counting games and interactive learning.
Made from recycled plastic, this mat is soft, durable and ideal for high-traffic areas such as classrooms, living rooms and campsites. Lightweight and easy to move, it can be folded or rolled up for transport between indoor and outdoor spaces. Easy to clean, simply brush away sand and dust or wipe and hose off heavier messes.
